The Excitement of june

WOW - the months seem to fly by and this one is no exception.

Our team's excitement over Social Saturdays continues to build right alongside the flowers and veggies in the raised bed garden.

Theora has worked feverishly over the last few months and will continue to stage plant more as we head into summer and fall. While she is doing all that, we are planning for a Farm Stand! Yes, right here in the circle drive behind the vast array of flowers in the drive's island we will be constructing our farm stand.

We have much discussed already to offer: Theora's homemade wreaths, pottery, and of course seasonal veggies.

We are also discussing Walking Sticks with a high school friend who makes them from his personal harvest of Ozark woods, sprouts, etc. While attending our local BBQ festival last weekend we also spotted some young men who are also producing walking sticks, canes, and their own hand carved minatures of birds etc.

Plan an outing to the farm very soon.

And oh, this Saturday is Social Saturday with the Flower Fest!

We will have the trails mowed and ready for the hiking enthusiasts as well.

PS. The goat boys, Myles and Mickey are always hungry!

It is so exciting to have Kathy Summers a local state champion award winning fiddle player. If you would like to jam with her, bring your instrument!

Then for those who enjoy reading poetry or writing poetry Caitlin Jones from neighboring Belle, MO will be speaking with us. Such a treat for a Poet Laureate to be visiting with us on the farm.

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday!
