Local Artisan to feature their work on our farm

Hello. Welcome on this beautiful afternoon at RGM Farms in Bourbon, Missouri. We have been visiting today with a local woodcrafter artisan. Sitting here behind me, I have some examples of the work of our friend Gary, who is a master craftsman. The beautiful cedar wood being used here is being harvested and milled at the sawmill here in Crawford County. Gary and his labor of love assembles this spectacular work right here locally. One of the examples of Gary’s

work is a Cedar wastebasket holder that is completely collapsible. We have some beautiful collapsible little Cedar end tables, and a Cedar serving tray. I want to showcase the easy transport of Gary’s work. He tells me that a lot of people with RVs are buying his products. They are easily stored and are just the right size for smaller spaces. We are going to be having these furnishings inside our Glamping units here on our farm. Some may ask what a glamping unit is. Glamping is glamorous camping. We have plans for decks to be constructed here on our five-acre property. Siting on these decks will be tents covered with nice constructed durable roofing to protect them and give them long life. We will have some of the furniture pieces showcased here for use by our guest and available for purchase as well. We are excited to be able to host and collaborate with other local artisans and lovers of nature. These pieces of furniture are Crawford County wood products that are sourced here locally. We are also excited to be able to offer these to our guest that come from near and far.

Today we had guests that were driving back to Chattanooga that had stayed with us for five nights. They fully enjoyed the area that offers hiking, camping, and beautiful sight seeing. They said they really enjoyed walking the property and seeing all the animals. These guests even went as far to say that they are now “goat enthusiasts”. We invite you to keep following us. We have a lot more coming your way about what is going on at RGM Farms. Thank you and hope to see you soon.

“When visiting RGM Farms, you are more than a visitor, you’re like family”.
